We need your input! Middlesex Township is currently updating its Comprehensive Plan. Our current Comprehensive Plan was adopted in 2003 and in the 23 years since, Middlesex has changed substantially. A new plan is needed to serve as a community-driven blueprint for the next generation, one that promotes orderly, diverse development, safeguards our unique environmental assets, enhances livability, and supports sustainable economic growth and transportation connectivity.
We are working with HRG consultants to help us prepare the Plan. Your input will be vital in creating our vision for the future. Please check the Township’s website for updates to the Plan. We will be posting a survey for community input in early fall. We will also have a stand at the Fall Festival on September 19, 2026.

A comprehensive plan is a community’s roadmap for managing future growth, protecting resources, and enhancing quality of life over the next 10 years. It establishes a community’s vision for future growth, development, and preservation. It guides decisions about land use, housing, transportation, economic development, parks and recreation, natural resources, public facilities, and community character.
Public participation is a critical part of the comprehensive planning process. By participating, you are helping shape a shared vision and providing valuable input that will influence community planning and decision-making.
