The Summer Playground Program is currently full for Summer 2026.
Program Dates: June 8 – July 16, 2026
Days: Monday through Thursday
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Middlesex Township Park, 50 Beagle Club Road, Carlisle, PA
What to Expect
Children will participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities led by trained counselors, including games, crafts, recreational activities, and nature-based experiences. Participants will also have opportunities for free play and creative activities while enjoying the park’s many amenities.
Throughout the program, children may enjoy:
- Organized games and group activities
- Arts and crafts projects
- Nature walks along the park trails
- Outdoor recreation and exploration
- Supervised free-play opportunities
- Occasional field trips and special events
The Summer Playground Program is a great way for children to stay active, make new friends, and enjoy the outdoors during their summer break.
Participant Requirements
To ensure a safe and successful experience for all participants, children must:
- Be at least 4 years old and entering Kindergarten in the fall
- Be no older than 12 years of age
- Be able to follow directions and participate appropriately in group activities
- Be able to use restroom facilities independently
- Be physically able to participate in outdoor activities and walk throughout the park
