Large Item Pickup
Large item collection is scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month. Residents may place up to 4 bulk items out for collection.
Advance scheduling is required. Please contact Penn Waste at 717-767-4456 or email info@pennwaste.com at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled pickup.
Please note: Bulk items are collected on the third Wednesday of the month for regular Wednesday customers and on the following day for regular Thursday customers.
2026 Leaf Collections: Saturday, April 18, 2026 and Saturday, October 17, 2026
There will be (2) leaf collections scheduled on a Saturday for ALL residents with service, in April and October. Leaves MUST be in open containers (no lids) and easily identified as leaf waste or PAPER leaf bags. DO NOT place them in plastic bags. No garbage, sticks, twigs, animal waste or paper should be included. If any of these items are included, your containers will be refused, and you will be responsible to dispose of them yourself. You can call Penn Waste for more information 717-767-4456. Remember Township Ordinance 13-2007 prohibits the burning of leaves. Christmas Tree Collection
Christmas trees will be collected by Penn Waste on Saturday, January 11, 2026.
After January 11, any remaining Christmas trees will be collected on your regularly scheduled trash day through January 31, 2026.
Yard Waste Pickup
Yard waste collection takes place on the third Saturday of April and October.
Holiday Collection Adjustments
If your scheduled collection day falls on or after a holiday, pickup will be delayed by one day. Holidays that occur on weekends will not affect the collection schedule.

- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day

Helpful Guidelines for Residents
Preparation Time: Place waste curbside the evening before your scheduled collection day whenever possible.
Container Limits: All household waste must fit inside the provided mobile cart.
Bulk Item Collection: Bulk items must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance by contacting Penn Waste at 717-767-4456.
Item Restrictions: Construction debris and items too heavy for two people to safely lift will not be collected.
