MIDDLESEX TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPT. HIRING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISSTANT PART TIME
The Middlesex Township Police Department is looking to hire a part-time Administrative Assistant. The applicant must be able to pass a thorough background and criminal history check due to their contact with highly confidential information within the police department.
The hours would be daylight hours (8am-4pm) Monday through Friday and vary from 8 hrs. a week to 32 hrs. depending on the leave time usage of the full-time assistant. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour.
The successful candidate should:
– Have the ability to communicate with the general public
– Possess good typing, calculator and computer operations skills
– Be accurate in repetitious procedures+
The duties shall include, but not necessarily be limited to:
– Performing general office duties of receptionist, filing, typing, data entry, reports, telephone operator, providing general information to the public and assisting the full-time Administrative Assistant as needed while under the direct supervision of the Chief of Police.
