Police


Middlesex Township Police Department is responsible for providing 24 hour police protection for an area of  approximately 27 square miles with approximately 110 miles of paved roads. Middlesex Township is called the “Hub” of the East Coast. Intersecting the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Interstate  81 connected by U.S. Route 11, approximately 38,000 people travel the area known as the “Miracle  Mile” (U.S. Rt. 11) each day.

In 1968 the Middlesex Township Police Department started with one Police Officer, today the  present strength has grown to 12 sworn officers.
