ASSISTANCE: With the Governor’s Stay at Home Order in effect until April 30th and if you are an elderly person or disabled and unable to get groceries or prescriptions, please contact the Township at 717-249-4409 and someone may be able to assist you.
VOLUNTEERS are needed to assist with getting the groceries and prescriptions for the elderly and disabled in our community, please contact the Township at 717-249-4409 as we are compiling a list of those that can assist.
Middlesex Township Municipal Building Closed until Further Notice: As part of the national effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Middlesex Township has elected to close the Township Municipal Building and Police Department office until further notice, beginning Tuesday March 17th. The situation will be monitored, and the closure may be extended as necessary.
Township employees will report to work as usual. All business with the Township will be handled via email, telephone, mail, and the website www.middlesextwp.com. The Township maintains a drop-off box in front of the office for bill payments, permit applications, etc.

Tax Collector: All face to face business will have to be scheduled appointments, in other words, his normal business hours of Tuesday 4-7 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m.-1 p.m. will be by appointment only. Other than that, his drop box is still available. If someone wants a receipt mailed back they must include a self-addressed stamped envelope. If you need further clarification, please see me. Compost Site: Beginning Monday, April 20 the Compost site is OPEN.
Playground Registration: Due to the unusual circumstances we are currently experiencing, Playground Registration forms are being accepted through regular mail email or they can be dropped off at the township office, 350 N. Middlesex Rd, Carlisle. The office is closed, but there is a locked mailbox on the porch close to the township office door. The applications will be taken in the order received. “REGISTRATION UPDATE: Weeks 4, 5, 6 and 7 are full. We will maintain a Waiting List.”

Township Playground Equipment, Pavilion and Exercise Equipment on the Walking Trail is Closed: To reduce the possibility of CONVID-19 spreading in our community, the Township Playground Equipment, Pavilion and the Exercise Equipment on the Walking Trail are closed and use is prohibited by visitors. At this time, Township parks remain open for public use and enjoyment. We appreciate you cooperation and understanding as we work as a community to help protect each other.
SPLASH PAD Unfortunately, due to Pennsylvania State Health Department Guidelines regarding COVID-19, the Splash Pad will not open. We will use this time to perform much needed maintenance. We hope to see you in the 2021 season.
Bulk Service ADS is tentatively set to resume bulk pick up as of June 1, 2020
Bags We must continue to make sure if they are using bags that they must not be too heavy to avoid ripping and they must be tied. If they break open we are not going to be picking it up.
Cardboard/Recycling All cardboard MUST be broken down and put into a plastic bag and put into the Recycling Toter.
